All was dark
Except a dim beam
I was there
She was there
We were there
Looking at each other
I spoke no word
She spoke no word
She stared and stared
My heart skipped a beat
I ran and ran
Not turning around
I gasped and stopped
And turned around
There she was
Gasping along
I sat at the corner
And closed my eyes
An hour later
She was gone
All was bright…
Electric power was back
And the shadow had vanished…
