Amidst the rustling mulberry leaves
Two emerald eyes sparkled with tears
The silk worms tasted the fear
Of the silk haired maiden
As she wiped her soaked eyes
She felt the chillness of the frozen wind
Crushing and ripping her soul apart,
Her diary had reached the last page
Scribbling a few words that she wanted
To share with the world
She ran and ran as fast as she could
Then she vanished without a trace
Today the satin covered dairy
Lies buried within the mulberry planting
In each of the woven fabric
She smiles, she cries, she lives and dies
