The tide rises, the tide falls
The foam spreads, the footprint palls
The sun adorns and the waves glitter
In the sapphire sky, the sandpipers flutter
Billowing its wings the seagull hovers
The curfew calls and the darkness showers
The moon spreads gossamer swathes
In the milky glow, the ocean bathes
The fishers return from the day’s slogs
Deprived of rest the ocean flogs
Splashing and splattering water on rock
A halcyon milieu, a peaceful walk
A melody floats, as the sea pings
my silent thought magically sings
And the tide rises, and the tide falls
The foam spreads slowly and my footprint palls
