Clutch of serendipity
Unsullied hearts, eager eyes
Suave life with no grumble
Heaving with compassion
There was so much comradeship
What more could one ask for?
But they were ignorant of the imminent debacle
Could one flee from the clutch of serendipity?
A vicious spell had been cast
An atrocious web had been weaved
They were the bait in this sadistic plan
Today the land lies barren
Soaked with fresh blood
Devoid of life forms
The ghost lies sleeping beneath
Howling and weeping during the night
The air still smells of death
The gust recites the sad tale
They implore for justice
They urge for peace
They want to rest now, they can witness no more.....
